Finally a way out of the chaos, the burnout, the confusion!
Helping adoptive moms to feel centered and confident
As an adoptive mom of 11 years, I know through personal experience the changes and adjustments that need to be made in order to make this journey sustainable for everyone in the family. I’ve helped other adoptive moms gain the tools and confidence they needed to help their children.
My approach starts with guiding you along a path to make transformational shifts in yourself. These changes may be recognizing unhealthy parenting patterns from your own past, learning to look deeper into the “why” behind your kid's behavior, adjusting the expectations you have for your child, and creating some serious support and self-care routines in your life. This process will enable you to parent from a more grounded place and navigate the daily challenges of life with a trauma informed lens.

Client Testimonial
I started working with Jessica because I was facing burnout as a single mom. I have three boys, two adopted and one biological. Facing the same challenges day after day was leading to irritability and exhaustion. I wanted to access some of the better parts of being a parent.
My experience working with Jessica was life changing. The interactions we had were very inspiring. She challenged my doubts, my perceptions and my expectations of my boys. Her questions and prompts showed me that there were other options. The changes I’ve made since starting the coaching have been spending individualized time with my boys, changing my expectations of them and not pouring from an empty cup. Sometimes we need someone with the training and understanding that can help us get through it.

Client Testimonial
I initially signed up to work with Jessica as I was having some difficulties in the first part of adoptive motherhood and wanted some guidance from someone with specific experience with adoption to overcome the anxiety and worries of this new step. Because of my work with Jessica, I was able to view my situation from an outside, calm, organized and relevant perspective. I learned a lot of practical tools for organization, but also more spiritual and mindful practices to help me throughout my day - and of course the nutrition angle makes for a holistic process. The biggest tangible change I have noticed since starting to work with Jessica is a huge increase in confidence of being a capable mother. I now know that I am not alone, that my feelings are not unusual, and I can learn from someone else's experience. And now I have specific tools, thought processes and methods to overcome any lack of confidence or negative thoughts.
